First-Timer & Preparation
What should I wear to a cycling class?
Wear comfortable athletic clothing, such as leggings or shorts and a breathable top. Padded cycling shorts are optional but can increase comfort.
What should I bring?
A water bottle (hydration is key!)
Do I need special shoes?
No, cycling shoes are not required. The bike is equipped with M Series Pedals that can accept both standard workout shoes or cycling shoes with SPD cleats.
How early should I arrive for my first class?
Arrive 10 minutes early so the instructor can help you get set up on the bike, adjust the seat and handlebars, and explain how the resistance works.
How do I set up the bike?
An instructor will always help new riders with proper adjustments (seat height, seat fore/aft, handlebar height/reach) to ensure a safe and effective ride.
Booking, Policies, & Classes
How do I book a class?
Classes can be reserved through the studio's website or the MindBody mobile app.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations to be made 24 hours before the class starts to avoid a penalty fee or losing the class credit.
What happens if I'm late?
Due to safety reasons and to avoid disruption, riders may not be allowed into the studio once the class has started (usually 5 minutes after the scheduled time). Your reserved spot may also be given to a standby rider.
How difficult are the classes?
Classes are generally designed for all fitness levels. You control your own resistance, meaning you can always dial it back or increase it to match your comfort level. The instructor provides the structure and motivation.
Are there different types of classes?
Yes, different formats will be offered. There will be beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes offered along with specialty classes such as genre/artist specific classes. Some classes may be Rhythm/Beat-Based rides (choreography and riding to the music) or Performance/Metric-Based rides (focused on power, RPM, and heart rate zones).
